Eastern University Masters degree International Development Global or Urban
|

The Master of Arts in International Development gives students the spiritual, analytical, and technical skills needed for prayerful and effective practice of transformational development in the United States and abroad.
We recognize the need for holistic intervention strategies that address the underlying economic, social, cultural, political and spiritual challenges in this kind of work. We prepare our students to serve as facilitators, leaders, and managers of development programs and projects, rooted in God’s word.
In both the global urban concentration's various delivery options, students learn alongside faculty who have hands-on experience, and prayerfully develop their vision of service. You will engage in study and undertake research in areas such as: microfinance, holistic community development, advocacy, and relief, reconstruction, and disaster mitigation. Required field internships and the option to live and serve in depressed neighborhoods as you study will help you learn from those you are called to serve.
We look forward to having you join our community of learning, service, ministry, and prayer, as you feel God’s call to do so!
