The MAJCS is a 39-credit graduate program that prepares professional leaders for the Jewish community of the 21st century. Graduates enter careers in a variety of settings, including Jewish federations, Jewish social service agencies, Jewish community centers, Jewish camps, Hillel foundations, Jewish organizational life and synagogues. Core components include graduate Jewish studies courses, professional courses, supervised internship, and practicum seminar. All students are required to complete internships in the Baltimore/Washington metropolitan area.
