The Exercise Science option in Master of Science Kinesiology is designed to provide up-to-date theoretical principles and practical experiences in exercise physiology and biomechanics.
Requirements
KIN 540, 551, 530, 590, and 696 (15 units);
Elective Courses: Select five of the followig courses:
KIN 541, 552, 553, 562, 565, 566, 594, 630, or 697 (15 units);
KIN 698 (4 units) for thesis project students;
KIN 695 for comprehensive examination students, plus a minimum of 6 elective units (9 units).
The student may select the thesis/project track or the comprehensive examination track. The student who chooses the thesis/project track is required to complete a thesis or a project. The student who chooses the comprehensive examination track is required to take KIN 695. The minimum unit requirement for the MS degree major program is 33 units for thesis/project students and 39 units for comprehensive examination students.
