The Master of Science in Knowledge Management degree is designed to prepare students to become professionals in the area of information management. Knowledge management involves capturing strategic information, analyzing markets and developing databases, documents, policies and procedures. KM professionals must understand the language and culture of an organization and know business and financial practices. Dominican University’s degree knowledge management uses an interdisciplinary approach to address current issues and challenges in the creation, identification, codification and sharing of knowledge within enterprise-activities central to traditional professions and modern business. The Master of Science in Knowledge Management degree brings together Dominican’s well-established programs in business and information systems and its nationally recognized strength in library and information science.
