Albany Law School Masters degree LL.M. for International Law Graduates

This LL.M. program is designed for international law graduates who seek an academic program in order to qualify for admission to the New York State or other state bar.
Students design their own 24-credit course of study with faculty guidance. Law graduates from civil-law countries are required to participate in orientation and must begin the program in August. Although students may elect to concentrate in one area of law, they must take at least two course in subjects that are tested on the bar exam.
Candidates who are not required to participate in the fall orientation may apply for admission in January or May. Applicants with international law degrees from civil-law countries are admitted in August only.
