PREREQUISITES for the MASTER OF SCIENCE IN APPLIED STATISTICS
(1) A bachelor's degree in math, physics, engineering, computer science, or statistics, OR a bachelor's
degree with at least 24 upper division units in math from an accredited college or university.
(2) A grade of C or above in the following courses or their equivalents (see Note below):
* MATH 247 Introduction to Linear Algebra
* MATH 323 Introduction to Numerical Analysis
* MATH 361A Introduction to Mathematical Analysis I
* MATH/STAT 380 Probability and Statistics
* STAT 381 Mathematical Statistics.
