An emphasis in Peace and Justice Studies can be added to any degree option. The Peace and Justice concentration consists of two required courses (“Peace and Justice Studies” and “Conflict Transformation.” - 6 units), three electives (9 units), and a final paper or project. It is also possible for a student to count any course toward the concentration, if the professor and student agree that the course’s major project(s) be crafted around an issue of peace and justice.

M.Div. students may count any course (including M.Div. requirements) toward the concentration, if the professor and student agree that the course’s major project(s) be crafted around an issue of peace and justice. M.Div. students in the concentration also complete the final paper or project as an additional requirement within the degree.
