The Reading Department of East Stroudsburg University offers a graduate program of study leading to a Master of Education, which qualifies students for the Pennsylvania Reading Specialist Certificate. This certificate enables a teacher to provide reading instruction in kindergarten through grade 12. A maximum of 36 credit hours are required for the Master of Education Reading degree.
