To become a certified, licensed speech-language pathologist, you must have a master's degree.

Learn the knowledge and practice the skills that will prepare you to work in all clinical settings and with all client populations across the lifespan in our speech-language pathology master's degree program, accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA).

By successfully completing our program, you will meet the academic and practicum requirements needed for Indiana state licensure and the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) awarded by American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). If you are interested in working in schools, our program will help you meet the requirements needed for Indiana school certification.

To qualify for the state license or the CCC, you must pass a national examination and demonstrate adequate clinical skills during a year of supervision by a certified speech-language pathologist or audiologist.
