A new accelerated accounting program is available to current and prospective students to meet education requirements for CPA licensure and to gain a competitive advantage for entry into the accounting profession. In most states, accounting students are required to complete 150 hours of education, obtain relevant accounting experience, and successfully complete the CPA exam to receive a CPA license.
The MSA program is designed for the student who wants to prepare for a career in accountancy, but does not have an undergraduate accounting background. The program provides students with the course work required to be eligible to sit for the CPA examination.
