Masters degrees in Early Childhood Education and Teaching: A program that prepares individuals to teach students ranging in age from infancy through eight years (grade three), depending on the school system or state regulations. Includes preparation to teach all relevant subject matter.
Upon the completion of this program students will:
1. Plan and direct a broad variety of service opportunities in the church and the community.
2. Become better performers in a solo, choral, or instrumental capacity.
3. Have new insights, perspectives, and practices in musical performances.
4. Demonstrate the ability to effectively make and arrange music in diverse musical styles.
Prerequisite: B.S. or B.A. with proficiency in basic chemistry and math. Students must have successfully completed at least one undergraduate class in general irrigation, soil science, crop science, calculus, and hydraulics, plus be familiar with spreadsheets. Students may complete prerequisite courses at CalPoly if necessary.
