Masters degrees in Violin, Viola, Guitar and Other Stringed Instruments: A program that prepares individual to master a stringed instrument and performing arts as solo, ensemble and/or accompanist performers. Includes instruction in playing and personal style development.
Upon the completion of this program students will:
1. Plan and direct a broad variety of service opportunities in the church and the community.
2. Become better performers in a solo, choral, or instrumental capacity.
3. Have new insights, perspectives, and practices in musical performances.
4. Demonstrate the ability to effectively make and arrange music in diverse musical styles.
With a Master of Music degree in Brass, you will be qualified for a career as a church musician, a private studio teacher, a symphony musician, or a teacher at the college level. You will receive training that is thorough in technique and repertoire and at the same time practical. Music instruction is offered without additional cost above the regular tuition.
