Masters degrees in Violin, Viola, Guitar and Other Stringed Instruments: A program that prepares individual to master a stringed instrument and performing arts as solo, ensemble and/or accompanist performers. Includes instruction in playing and personal style development.
Upon the completion of this program students will:
1. Plan and direct a broad variety of service opportunities in the church and the community.
2. Become better performers in a solo, choral, or instrumental capacity.
3. Have new insights, perspectives, and practices in musical performances.
4. Demonstrate the ability to effectively make and arrange music in diverse musical styles.
Designed to explore the wide musical and artistic range of the instrument, the Guitar Program features a flexible curriculum that equips students with the skills necessary for a variety of professional careers.
