About this School
Quinsigamond Community College (colloq: QCC, Quinsig) is a public, 2-year academic institution located in Worcester, Massachusetts. Primarily a commuter school, the college currently has an enrollment of 7,000 students in its Associate's degree and its certification programs. However a number of students are enrolled in transfer programs with the intent of continuing on to a four-year college or university, often UMass or Worcester State College due to guaranteed acceptance programs within the state. Founded in 1963, QCC currently occupies the Greendale campus formerly owned by Assumption College. The College also maintains a satellite campus in the Worcester Common Outlets, in downtown Worcester.
