| Mission |
| The mission of the State University of New York Institute of Technology is to offer undergraduate and graduate studies in professional, technical, scientific and selected liberal arts fields, to participate in educationally oriented community and public service; and to conduct basic and applied research appropriate to its curricula.
We value and promote academic and intellectual achievement of the highest quality, seek students who are highly motivated and desire a rewarding lerning experience, and offer an array of academic programs grounded in a liberal arts education.
SUNYIT offers a supportive, culturally diverse and challenging educational environment that encourages personal growth through students' active participation in residential life, student organizations, athletics, recreation, cultural and social events. |
