About this School
Southern Oregon University is a university in Ashland, Oregon. Founded in 1926 and formerly known as Southern Oregon State College, the university is known for its criminology, environmental studies, Shakespearean Studies and theatre arts programs. It is also the headquarters for Jefferson Public Radio. Bachelors and master's programs are offered through the School of Arts and Letters, the School of Business, the School of Sciences, School of Education, and the School of Social Science, Health & Phys Ed. SOU is home to public access Rogue Valley Television.
