Southern Oregon University is a university in Ashland, Oregon. Founded in 1926 and formerly known as Southern Oregon State College, the university is known for its criminology, environmental studies, Shakespearean Studies and theatre arts programs. It is also the headquarters for Jefferson Public Radio.
