The Division of Religious and Theological Studies (DRTS) offers MA and PhD degrees. Entering graduate students may choose among twelve areas of specialization in three main subject areas, each of which is cross cultural and multi-disciplinary. When it is beneficial to their academic program, students in the Graduate Division may take courses in other departments, including but not limited to the following: Anthropology, Art History, Classics, English, History, Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures, Religion, Sociology, The University Professors, and the School of Theology. Core and affiliated faculty may serve as major professors, assisting in the design of programs of study and in the evaluation of qualifying examinations, theses, and dissertations.
