Coursework, internship, and weekly individual and group art therapy supervision develop the students' knowledge and clinical skills.
The program provides extensive guidance in research, from the formulation of the idea to the culmination of the master's thesis.
While the core curriculum has a mental health focus, other areas of emphasis are offered: medical art therapy, school art therapy, and family art therapy.
Personal art making is required across the curriculum in a variety of assignments, including visual journaling.
