Why major in Art?
This certificate program prepares high school seniors for employment and/or competitive Arts programs in four-year institutions concentrating in Fine Arts or Digital Media Publishing.
Can I transfer credits?
Courses earned as part certificate programs can be applied toward Associate degrees at ECC. Most or all credits earned in certificate programs that are applied to associate degree programs transfer to four year institutions.
Upon completion of this program, graduates will be able to:
Demonstrate understanding of fine art design and/or fundamentals of media technology;
Demonstrate knowledge of the fundamental theories and practices of Art presentation;
Use a variety of creative skills to produce fine art pieces and or graphic design;
