Introduction
Meteorology at Florida Tech isn't just about the weather. Here, students study the effects of the Earth's atmosphere on human life, and the effect of humankind on the climate. This multidisciplinary program combines solid coursework in science and mathematics with specialized humanities, environmental science and meteorology courses, as well as technical electives. Students are offered the opportunity to complete in-depth field studies and summer research. Many meteorology majors minor in communication as preparation for careers in broadcasting.
