The Associate of Arts Degree (AA) in General Studies is appropriate for students who have not chosen a career or are interested in a broad-based education. Students will complete the core requirements for the Associate of Arts plus 28 elective hours. A majority of the electives should be in courses numbered 200 and higher.
Upon completion of the Associate of Arts degree General Studies, the student will:
have completed a broad background of studies in the core areas offered at FPCC
be able to transfer the freshman and sophomore general education courses required by most colleges or universities offering bachelors degrees
