Questions & Answers
Question
Who are the notable alumni?
1 Answer
Answered by: Universities.com

If you listen to today’s top hits, you’ve probably hear music from Gwen Stefani and Adam Lambert who both attended CSUF. Other entertainment powerhouse alumni include Kevin Costner, TV writer and producer Marc Cherry and Boy Meets World star Danielle Fishel. Big-time movie director James Cameron also attended the university.

Question
What is the campus setting like?
1 Answer
Answered by: Universities.com

CSUF has the largest student population of the California State Universities. Drawing a majority of its students from Orange and LA Counties and the Inland Empire, Cal State Fullerton offers a large university experience close to home for many of its students. The campus has an urban feel, making the best use of space possible to accommodate for the large student population. Most building construction was led by artist and architect Howard van Heuklyn, who gave the campus its striking, futuristic architecture.

Question
What are the online learning and extension/adult learning opportunities?
1 Answer
Answered by: Universities.com

CSUF offers two undergraduate degrees 100% online — a BA in sociology and a BA in business administration. Designed as bachelor’s completion programs, students are required to enter with roughly 60 transfer units from another university. Though the programs offer flexibility since there are not set classroom meetings, hard deadlines and due dates move cohorts along at a similar pace. Check out their online readiness checklist and online class demonstration to get a feel for what it’d be like to learn in an online environment.

Question
What are the athletic highlights?
1 Answer
Answered by: Universities.com

CSUF participates in the NCAA Division I Big West Conference with 13 national championships in eight different sports, the most successes coming from women’s gymnastics. With four national titles and dozens of alumni playing Major League Baseball, CSUF’s baseball team has national recognition. The CSUF Dance Team, with 12 national titles, currently holds the most national titles at the school.

Question
What are the school's academic highlights?
1 Answer
Answered by: Universities.com

CSUF is known for its specialty programs including kinesiology and communicative disorders. It is the only campus in California that offers a Master of Science in nursing with a concentration in school nursing. The Mihaylo College of Business and Economics is one of only five undergraduate business schools in California with an accreditation in accounting. Forbes has recognized CSUF as one of the top 100 public universities in the nation.
