My reason for furthering my education is because growing up in this economy as the jobs get slimmer a bachelors degree is needed more than it was in the past. I'll be the first in my family to go to a college and plan on earning a MBA and CPA. I averaged a GPA of 2.9-3.3. I'm playing football in college . I believe a secondary education is the right decision for me.

My reason for opting for higher education is simple ,that is,will to study and know more so that i can expand and explore my horizons, besides being able to support myself and my family.I will admit this that in the past i didn't have this mindset and interest to study and know more. But after i completed my graduation in pharmacy from India, last year,i was compelled to look for better options and this compulsion and pressure did wonders for me.I started working hard and reading things that i was previously afraid of.Now i can confidently say that whatever goal i am being handed over by others or i am choosing,i can do wonders. My pursuit of higher education ,is the manifestation of this lust for knowledge.

Originally I started going to college because I wanted to become a law enforcement officer so I had to have an associate degree and police academy training. Once I completed that training I needed to be competitive. Everyone had what I had so I had nothing special so I got my BA in Business. I then realized that I wanted more. I loved education and wanted to go higher. I loved mentoring in my field and I wanted to teach for a living so I got my Masters in Business and my Master in Criminal Justice. Now I am getting my Psy.D. in Criminology and Justice because I want to teach my students to be the best at what they do and the only way that I can do that is by leading by example.

I'm 27 years old and my husband and I are expecting our first baby. I had dropped out of school in 2007 due to family and financial issues and I am finally able to go back. The reason I chose to go back now is so I could better support my growing family. With the failed economy, I noticed how hard it was to find a reliable job, so now I am finishing my bachelors in business. I know that with my degree I will be able to give my son the future he deserves.
