Students will examine how what we eat affects our physical and even our psychological well-being to determine the best intake of individual nutrients, specific foods, and food groups.The field of nutritional science is embedded in the study of natural sciences, social sciences, and health sciences. Upon completion of the nutritional science degree, individuals will have a sound understanding of nutrient functions, sources, and requirements.
