Founded in 1878, Duquesne University in Pittsburgh is a small, self-contained school with international students from over 80 nations in-attendance. Through its Rangos School of Health Sciences, Duquesne features a Department of Physical Therapy where undergraduates can begin their DPT journey by starting with a bachelor’s in Biology or Health Science.
The DPT program requires “four clinical education experiences for a total of 40 weeks, in a variety of settings,” such as acute care, outpatient PT, pediatrics, cardiopulmonary, rehabilitation, orthopedics, oncology, and more! There’s even a joint degree option in Athletic Training/Doctor of Physical Therapy. Students may be able to sign up for certain relevant courses via Duquesne Online for additional flexibility.
