Students studying at California State University, Fullerton’s (CSUF) Mihaylo School of Business and Economics are offered a mantra the school hopes will guide their entire higher education experience — “ready to work, ready to lead.” Living up to big expectations that come with being the largest accredited business school on the West Coast, the Mihaylo School of Business and Economics leverages its southern California location to give students a global education employers are looking for in the workplace. Choose a California-esq concentration in Entertainment & Tourism Management, the first-of-its-kind undergraduate program that teaches the “biz.” An advisory board of senior executives from across the industry strengthen the program with experience from companies such as Paramount Pictures and Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. Not seeing stars in your future? Majors also include international business, with a choice of 6 language concentrations, business analytics, risk management insurance, entrepreneurship, and more.
My favorite class at Cal State Fullerton was the Earth Science class I took that helped spark my curiosity about Earth science and to this day I still think of that class and what I learned from the professor.
I liked the different study atmospheres throughout the campus. There was somewhere you could go to study in groups, study in absolute quiet, with computers or without, with light talking, etc. For one class our study group reserved a room that had everything we needed — a computer, projector and white board.
My favorite part about studying at Cal State Fullerton was the small classes. Even though it is a large university, the classes are small enough to allow you to connect with your classmates and professors. I especially loved the group project in Comm 465. I was able to work on a group project that helped prepare me for my current job.

The campus has an urban feel, making the best use of space possible to accommodate for the large student population. Most building construction was led by artist and architect Howard van Heuklyn, who gave the campus its striking, futuristic architecture.
CSUF offers two undergraduate degrees 100% online — a BA in sociology and a BA in business administration. Designed as bachelor’s completion programs, students are required to enter with roughly 60 transfer units from another university.
