    The focus is around helping others. The school offers scholarships to many overseas students so you get an opportunity to meet many individuals from varying cultures.

    The facilities are on high tech end. As things are getting older (dorm rooms, classrooms) funds are set aside to update them.

    The school is closely tied to the community in which it lives. There are many events that are open to the public. Students there feel as though the city of Dubuque is there home away from home.
