Alumni & Student Reviews

B+ Great
Career Preparation

What letter grade would you give your school on how well it prepares students for a career in the real world?

3.5 Based on 6 Reviews
  • Alumni
    Public Relations, Class of 2002

Teachers are all working professionals in their field, each department has an internship coordinator to help link students to the field, the school itself is very well known in certain fields as a place to seek new talent

    5 Rated January 2016
  • Alumni
    Fine Arts, Class of 1994

In 1994? None. The fiction writing department merely trained students to incorporate writing into whatever job they ended up in, not how to make money-much less a living-from their writing.

    2 Rated January 2016
  • Alumni
Magazine Editing and Publishing, Class of 1996

Internships, Instructors who work in the field, career counseling

Commuter College, more mature student body, open door policy, arts-centered

    4 Rated January 2016
  • Alumni
Bachelor of Arts, Class of 2003

It's an art school, so no sports but plenty of group projects and networking

    3 Rated January 2016
A- Excellent
Facilities

What letter grade would you give the facilities at your school.

3.8333333333333 Based on 6 Reviews
  • Alumni
    Public Relations, Class of 2002

dorms seem to be better now, have always been very expensive.

    3 Rated January 2016
  • Alumni
    Fine Arts, Class of 1994

Average. The computer labs were often booked beyond capacity and one had to be a student in a computer class to use them.

    3 Rated January 2016
  • Alumni
Magazine Editing and Publishing, Class of 1996

Top notch. The dorms were actually two-bedroom apartments, the classrooms were cutting edge at the time. We didn't have a cafeteria but the restaurants/cafes were ideal for the population.

    4 Rated January 2016
  • Alumni
    Film Studies, Class of 2011

Computer labs, film/television studios, dance studios, music halls, movie theatres,

    5 Rated January 2016
  • Alumni
Bachelor of Arts, Class of 2003

I didn't live in the dorms so I can't speak on that, but everything else was fine.

The leadership conference: All expense paid weekend focusing on bettering the diversity of the school. We just had to serve 18 hours of community service for our part.

    4 Rated January 2016
  • Alumni
Bachelor of Arts, Class of 2003

    I don't know of any
