Students and Culture

What letter grade would you give the students/culture at your school?

4 Based on 3 Reviews
  • Alumni
BA in Psychology, Class of 2010

The students self-govern and follow the Honor Code, which is not just academic but social as well. Most people treat each other with respect, are honest, hardworking, and care about their academic experience. The culture is strongly attached to the Quaker principles of equality, respect for others, and the belief in the good in others. Academically, students take their work very seriously, but the environment is not cut-throat. It's collaborative and supportive.

Some facilities could use upgrades, but I never found it to be personally problematic. The campus and buildings are beautiful, my dorm rooms were always good. Bathrooms are co-ed.
