High achievers, some came from prep schools and influenced culture. Diverse, accepting of people of color and LGBT (sexual orientation, transgender, etc.) Formal, especially in contrast to where I live now in Colorado.

Beautiful urban campus with distinct reserved land. Good labs, dorms, etc. Fewer acres than Cornell Ithaca NY, University of Maryland College Park, University of Colorado Boulder.

Most students have their own computers, so the computer lab isn't used much. Dorms are only guaranteed through sophomore year. Classrooms are a mix of new and old. Arts program is really expending, with 3 blackbox theaters and a building dedicated to music.

There are so many. Most students do some sort of research (even those in the humanities). Lacrosse is popular, and games are well-attended. We have a great gym with a 30-ft rock wall and a bouldering cave. The a capella groups are popular, and there are a number of frats and sororities, although they don't dominate campus life.
