There are an insufficient amount of housing. Some labs are state of the art, some barely look like they've been updated since the 50s. Dining halls are all new. Most residential halls are newly renovated.

Interdisciplinary Engineering, Class of 2007

Missouri Satellite Team is probably one of the most innovative and under appreciated groups on campus. At competition, they stand toe-to-toe with other schools like UC Boulder, MIT, Georgia Tech, BY, etc. It's a large group, and several research teams are based out of it. Overall, it's extremely professional, and gives students the opportunity to work on actual equipment that flies in space.
