My journalism class provided an opportunity to be published in a widely distributed book, as well as showcased my photography at a local cafe. I also had an amazing film internship with a local documentary filmmaker.

Very alternative--liberal, environmentally conscious, independent, open-minded. Many were very active outdoorsy types who loved to camp, hike, and bike. Creative and scientific both.

There are a couple computer labs, multiple dorms, and one dining hall. The student to teacher ratio is very low. some classes may have 13 students per teacher. I've never attended a class size larger than 30 students.
