Students and Culture

What letter grade would you give the students/culture at your school?

3.25 Based on 4 Reviews
  • Alumni
dual major in biology, psychology, Class of 2012

Many students come from privileged backgrounds

    3 Rated January 2016
  • Alumni
Environmental Science and Chemistry, Class of 2014

The majority of students are wealthy partiers with little regard for social issues. There are many business and engineering students. There are small pockets of environmentally and socially minded students but the majority is ambivalent. Most students live on campus. Sports teams are the fraternities, as we have no residencial ones. The teachers and staff are excellent.

    Psychology, B.A., Class of 2006

Party school. Many wealthy students that weren't able to get into their first choice, private schools would come here.

  • Alumni
B.S., Paralegal Studies, Class of 1999

We had a lot if international studies along with a lot from New York and New Jersey

A Excellent
Facilities

What letter grade would you give the facilities at your school.

4.5 Based on 4 Reviews
  • Alumni
Environmental Science and Chemistry, Class of 2014

The facilities are amazing. Many are brand new and sustainably built. The food is literally gourmet, as the caterer is Bon Apetit. Some of the freshman dorms are sketchy, but better than average. The upperclassman dorms are all newly renovated and set in picturesque locations adjacent to the bay. The grounds are well maintained and beautiful.

    5 Rated January 2016
  • Alumni
    Psychology, B.A., Class of 2006

Everything was pretty updated. The freshmen dorms were gross, but that's pretty similar to most schools. Computer lab was small.

    4 Rated January 2016
  • Alumni
B.S., Paralegal Studies, Class of 1999

We had a lot of professors that were working in the fields in which they were teaching

B+ Great
Activities and Groups

What overall letter grade would you give the activities/groups at your school?

3.5 Based on 4 Reviews
  • Alumni
Environmental Science and Chemistry, Class of 2014

Sports are the most popular, but there are many clubs and opportunities.
