Very diverse university. Many different types of student organizations. It is pretty easy to find somewhere to fit in. Hockey is a big deal, and although it does have a party school reputation, it's easy to avoid it if you wish.

They keep expanding. They have a wonderful skyway system so you only have to be outside a tiny bit in the winter. It's the second largest university in the state but everything is in one place. It does not take long to walk from one end to the other. The library is beatiful. Some buildings are getting old, but they have been updating a lot of them. When I was there I thought the dorms were typical. Nothing fancy, but not gross in any way; they have everything you need. The dining hall is very large and offers a good variety. There are many "fast food" places throughout campus, as well as a convience store, so you really don't have to leave campus if you don't want to.

The workout facility is very large and I believe open 24 hrs, so many people utilize it. There are many different intermural teams/sports that are also very popular. Getting a group together to go to the hockey game is very common. There is usually some sort of show/activity/concert on Friday nights that a lot of people take advantage of.
