SLU encourages students to partake in internships whenever possible. The school had a resource center for career building that helps students obtain beneficial internships, edit your resume, utilize LinkedIn effectively and provides a variety of other powerful resources for students. The school provides many functions and events for students that promote networking with current students, alumni, professors and those in the community

SLU's campus is beautiful. Whether it is the 2 on-campus pools, the gorgeous flowers strewn all through campus, the iconic clocktower that holds many students on a sunny day or the million dollar residence halls being built you will find great facilities here. As the school recently updated the dining halls and food options, you will also be pleasantly surprised by the variety of options available.

Sororities and fraternities are a popular group to join on campus. But, unlike many schools, those who join sororities and fraternities are also likely to be an SGA president, a president of Italian club, etc. There are a variety of activities and groups to join at SLU whether its a comedy club, a language club, an accounting club, or a volunteering club.
