Master of Environmental Studies, Class of 1997

I am not sure about how TESC prepares under-graduates for the real world because I got my BA elsewhere, but in the graduate program, the curriculum was diverse and internship opportunities enabled on-the-job learning.

  • Alumni
    BA, Class of 2002

school has a interdiscplinary learning focus with several collaborative projects

My class was small and older than the average under-graduate student. In general, TESC is known for its progressive, activist student population who are actively engaged in creating positive social change.

As a graduate student, I didn't spend any time in the dorms, but otherwise thought the facilities were nice. The setting is beautiful (it is in the woods outside of town)

God only knows -- if it is unique, they are doing it at TESC. This is not your standard, ivy league college. TESC embraces and celebrates diversity, which I think makes students better citizens.

several unique groups on campus and in the community, great women's center
