    Most commute. Not much culture.

    1 Rated January 2016
  • Alumni

When I was there it was a commuter school. School has changed its atmosphere and is now has a large vibrant on campus experience.

    Political Science, Class of 2015

Typical university, students focus on their studies. There are sororities and fraternities, but they are more visible when they are hosting events for charity or good causes, they are loud or obnoxious that I saw (I wasn't a resident though). The professors (I was there for my Masters, so only took political science courses) are above average and are all very nice and attentive to students. Even with it being political science, the professors NEVER force their beliefs on any student, in fact most do not talk about any of their political views, they just teach. If students (rarely) go on rants on their beliefs, they never talk down to them nor tell them they are wrong for believing what they believe; even if they didn't at all agree personally (I was a graduate teaching assistant, so I did know some of their political leanings). There is one professor who openly tells students how he feels, but never grades students if they are the opposite of his beliefs, and he only "goes off" on the opposing views in a obviously joking and playful manner, and the students love him no matter their beliefs too. The political science professors are the best I've seen.

    Accountign, Class of 2002

open and laid back but not that involve since it was a "commuter school"

    2 Rated January 2016
  • Alumni
BAchlor degree in business administration , Class of 2012

It is a commuter school. The business school was primarily made up of part time students with full time jobs and young full time students with part time jobs.

    4 Rated January 2016
  • Alumni
    Business, Class of 1983

Very diverse in ethnicity, very large student population, not real active in Fraternities/Sororities, or Sports. A commuter college

IT has been nearly 25 years since I have been a student. I am assuming you are asking about how the school is currently. Facilities have been updated and new investment is made all of the time.

The university has been around for some time, but the buildings are still well kept for the age of the building. There are newer buildings that are very nice!

    5 Rated January 2016
  • Alumni

They were great. New equipment, clean rooms, lots of food choices, I didn't live in the dorms so I can't speak to that and the gym was awesome.

    5 Rated January 2016

At the time I went, they were sufficient - I believe they have improved dramatically as far as renovation of older buildings, new buildings, new technologies.
