What letter grade would you give your school on how well it prepares students for a career in the real world?
Based on 12 ReviewsWay too many to list.
I did not take advantage of "job fairs" at the college or alumni events. I went out on my own to find jobs in the alc. treatment field.
Projects that involve working on teams; development of writing skills; decision analysis skills
Curriculum online- easy to plan time and flexible for working Not too good for networking Good facility to do hands on practice
It offers a traditional university experience, with tens of thousands of students, staff, and faculty all living, working, and learning together. That kind of diversity allows students to grow and flourish away from whatever background they came from and find their own path. The tools and "networking options" that are available literally anywhere are available here. It's what a student chooses to do with the opportunities that matters.
I have no idea. I graduated a LONG time ago! I assume they do an adequate job.
Large faculty; In depth curriculum for business
I really don't remember. Sorry!
business plan competitions, career fairs
What letter grade would you give the students/culture at your school?
Based on 12 ReviewsFriendly. Many from rural areas. Nice mix of foreign and US students. All types of groups to be in if you want that.
Mix of working students and full time students; great viticulture club; adjunct educators that are community leaders and encourage students to better the community
Older women going back to work Young adult women starting out
There are over 20,000 students at WSU, there is not one culture. There are many.
There is a lot of school spirit at Washington State. It might be attributed to the school's relatively small student body compared to other Pac-12 schools.
Traditional and non- traditional. Diverse.
Diverse student body. Fun, engaging culture with many opportunities
Sports and the Greek system were very prevalent. It was considered a part school when I attended.
Plenty of drinking because you are in the middle of wheat fields
What letter grade would you give the facilities at your school.
Based on 12 ReviewsFirst class. I was very satisfied with all facilities.
Mix of old and new facilities and equipment; lacked cafe at the time
Best facility for practicing- fully stocked, new equipment, variety of supplies
I was there 8 years ago, I'm sure a lot has changed. They were perfectly comfortable and modern, clean and ample, when I was there.
Everything that a regular college has
Not sure. I've only walked around campus a few years ago and didn't get a chance to see the facilities. I'm sure they are much improved since I went to school.
Many facilities, large campus, up to date computer labs and connected dorms.
Online school - never went to campus
Everything was incredibly up-to-date regarding technology. The dorms and classrooms were quite nice. The dining halls lacked healthy food options.
What overall letter grade would you give the activities/groups at your school?
Based on 12 ReviewsYou can literally get involved with anything you can think of.
I was not interested in Greek social groups. I don't know what would be considered unique. At the time I went to college anti-war groups were unique. We had a free univ. with courses too.
Viticulture program and wine tasting events for students; football program
Don't know-didn't join, mostly online courses
This is a terrible survey.
None that I can think of
Sports is a big draw, many different student groups also are available.
I don't know about unique, but partying was a very popular activity that stands out in my mind.
football, parties, roller hockey, painting the rocks
