Alumni & Student Reviews

A Excellent
Career Preparation

What letter grade would you give your school on how well it prepares students for a career in the real world?

4.3333333333333 Based on 3 Reviews
  • Alumni
    comparative literature, Class of 1986

it prepares for graduate school, which is where you want to go next

    5 Rated January 2016
  • Alumni
    Mathematics, Class of 1986

There was (and still is) a strong alumni organization to match recent graduates going into business and finance with professional contacts. The same is somewhat true for people in the arts.

Students and Culture

What letter grade would you give the students/culture at your school?

4.3333333333333 Based on 3 Reviews
  • Alumni
    Mathematics, Class of 1986

Tremendously varied. There were indigent students on scholarships as well as foreign royals. It was, as they say, a very rich tapestry. Despite the elitist reputation, almost all the people I knew well were egalitarians with progressive political views.

Facilities

What letter grade would you give the facilities at your school.

4.6666666666667 Based on 3 Reviews

gym, libraries, language libraries, dorms, classrooms, dining halls

    5 Rated January 2016
  • Alumni
    Undergraduate Law, Class of 2003

very new, modern facilities. state of the art technology (you get what you pay for; private Ivy University)

    5 Rated January 2016
  • Alumni
    Mathematics, Class of 1986

Some were spiffy and state-of-the-art. Others were somewhat antiquated and rustic (like the physics labs). Considering that many of the buildings were hundreds of years old, their condition was remarkably good, even the ancient ones.
