San Juan, Puerto Rico is not just a 24/7 spring break. “The Walled City” has so many wonderful opportunities, you may never want to leave. There are 26 colleges and universities in San Juan, and they offer degree programs to prepare you for careers in business, nursing, cosmetology, dentistry, or law.* San Juan is the island’s main economic center, and half the population in Puerto Rico resides and works in the city.* So, if you’re planning on taking a break from the mainland, San Juan is a great place to live and work.
San Juan encompasses the work hard, play hard motto. Obviously, there are plenty of beaches to soak up the vitamin D and indulge in sun and surf, including Ocean Park, Condado, and Pine Grove.* The Paseo del Morrow is a waterfront walkway and one of the best places to watch the sunset.* Many people meet up at one of many plazas in Old San Juan, where you can find musicians and dancers and plenty of entertainment.
