An LPN’s role is typically to provide basic nursing care and comfort for the patients, as well as reporting the status of patients to registered nurses and doctors.
Most jobs require completing an accredited practical nursing program, which usually takes about one year to complete. Once completed, your must complete the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-PN) to obtain a license and begin working as an LPN.
