Biomedical science is the study of the human body from a biology and chemical viewpoint. You’ll study a variety of science disciplines, such as biochemistry, immunology, neuroscience, stem cell biology, and many more. You’ll conduct lab research and work with real patients. Many biological and biomedical science students go on to become health professionals in nearly every medical field or medical scientists. So, you can guess it’ll be helpful to start with your bachelor’s degree but go on to further your education with a master’s degree or Ph.D. Whichever career path you choose, you’ll be leading the charge to improve the overall health of our world.
